Our Origins and Philosophy
Founded in 2008 by Niki Beattie [biography], one of Europe’s leading experts in financial market structure, the firm has quickly gained a reputation for its authoritative views and insight into the issues being faced by the industry.
Our philosophy is that nothing beats practical experience and unbiased market intelligence. Our knowledge and expertise are derived from many years of experience at financial institutions, working in various aspects of the financial lifecycle across a range of industry sectors including the derivative, equity and bond markets.
Our Structure: London-Based with a Global Presence
Market Structure Partners is based in London but operates an associate network model with a small number of specialist consultants across four continents (US, Europe, Asia and Australia) that are selected for their practical knowledge and insight. We value our independence, integrity and partnerships. This model allows us to have the flexibility to provide our clients with the best and most relevant experts who are qualified to understand, provide quality advice and produce meaningful results. It also means we minimise our carbon footprint by reducing office space and optimising use of technology. Therefore, many team members are subcontractors working as together as a team under the Market Structure Partners brand. Most of us have worked together on different projects for more than 11 years.
We have an extensive geographical reach beyond the main European markets with specialist knowledge of emerging markets, particularly in Eastern Europe, Russia, The Middle East and Africa.
